VON Meals on Wheels

VON Meals on Wheels is in need of volunteers to help deliver meals to seniors and people with physical disabilities with their Meals on Wheels program. Volunteers are needed to either drive or serve, one day a week during lunchtime, 10:30-1:00. For a rewarding volunteer experience and to help people in need, please call Mary Catherine Ker at 905-522-0053 for more information or to register for an orientation session.

Case for Kids

Case for Kids: “The journey towards greater justice is a long one; it is a journey well worth taking.” The Case for Kids journey is one that will provide hope for those families living in poverty. The Emmanuel Walkers need your help on this journey.

Case for Kids

The walk again will be on June 3. Last year we had 12 “Walkers” who raised $1499.76 outside the congregation. They did this by asking friends, relatives, co-workers and neighbours to support them in the walk. We would like to see more walkers this year. Information and forms are available from members of the Outreach Committee. The Outreach Desk will be open to receive your pledge.
